Who is behind Check&Calc Tools?
Hi, I’m Pavel – an IT operations engineer who enjoys experimenting with small, focused web tools in my free time. I work with real systems and users every day, so I see how often people struggle with questions like:
- “Is this website legit or a scam?”
- “Does this text feel too AI-generated?”
- “How much money could this YouTube channel realistically make?”
Check&Calc Tools grew out of these real-world questions. Instead of building a big SaaS, I decided to create a tiny hub of no-login tools that anyone can open in their browser and use within seconds.
What Check&Calc Tools offers
The project currently includes three main tools:
- Scam website checker – SafeSiteCheck gives a quick 0–100 risk score based on domain patterns (cheap TLDs, very long names, lots of dashes/digits, IP-based URLs, etc.).
- AI text detector – HumanScore is a lightweight AI-likeness heuristic that runs entirely in your browser.
- YouTube money calculator – TubeEarnings estimates daily, monthly and yearly ad revenue from your views and RPM ranges.
Around these tools, I’m also writing practical guides on topics like spotting fake websites, how AI detectors work and what realistic YouTube earnings look like.

A few important disclaimers
Check&Calc Tools is an independent side project. It does not provide professional legal, financial, investment or cybersecurity advice.
- The scam checker is a heuristic helper, not a full security solution.
- The AI text detector is an AI-likeness heuristic, not a perfect GPT detector.
- The YouTube calculator uses estimates and ranges, not guarantees of future earnings.
Always combine these tools with your own judgement, additional research and professional advice when needed.
Why I keep the project simple
Technically, the site is intentionally minimal:
- Static HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript.
- Hosted on Netlify.
- No user accounts or logins.
- Tools run directly in your browser.
This keeps the project easy to maintain, transparent and fast to load. Over time, I hope to grow it into a small, low-maintenance asset that genuinely helps people while also teaching me more about SEO, UX and monetization.
